Privacy notice

This notice describes how personal data is processed when users browse the AS Tech website or choose to contact us by email.

1. Data controller

The data controller is AS Tech di Astegiano Simone, with registered office at Rivarolo Canavese, VAT/tax identification number 13337890019. For enquiries concerning personal data protection, please contact info@astech-software.com.

2. Data processed while browsing

The website does not require registration and contains no forms. The IT systems required to operate it may automatically process technical data such as IP address, date and time of the request, requested resource, response status and information about the browser and device. This data is used solely to deliver and secure the website and to diagnose technical issues.

3. Data provided by email

Email links on the website use the “mailto:” protocol and open the user’s email application: no message is submitted through a website form. If the user chooses to send an email, the sender’s address, message, attachments and any other information voluntarily provided will be processed insofar as necessary to handle and respond to the request.

4. Purposes and legal bases

Technical browsing data is processed to ensure the operation, security and integrity of the website on the basis of the Controller’s legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Emails concerning services, quotations or potential engagements are processed to respond to the request and take pre-contractual steps under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other communications are handled on the basis of the legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Where necessary, certain data may be retained to comply with legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

5. Cookies, analytics and profiling

The website does not use profiling cookies, advertising tools, visitor analytics or technologies intended to track user behaviour. It contains no maps, content embedded from external platforms or fonts loaded from third-party services. It uses only technical tools required to operate the website and remember the selected colour theme. Further details are available in the Cookie policy.

6. Processing and security

Processing is carried out using electronic systems in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, data minimisation and storage limitation. Technical and organisational measures proportionate to the risks are applied, including HTTPS connections, security configuration and access restricted to authorised parties.

7. Recipients and service providers

Data may be processed by suppliers supporting the Controller in providing its services and acting, where applicable, as data processors. These include Aruba S.p.A. for domain registration, DNS, hosting, content delivery and email services. Personal data is not sold or disclosed to third parties for advertising purposes.

8. International transfers

The website is hosted by Aruba S.p.A. in data centres located in Italy. Under the current configuration, no transfers of personal data outside the European Economic Area are envisaged. If suppliers involving transfers to third countries are introduced in the future, the Controller will apply the safeguards required by Chapter V GDPR and update this notice.

9. Retention

Technical data is retained by the provider only for the period necessary to deliver, secure and diagnose the service, in accordance with the applicable configuration and contractual terms. Email enquiries that do not lead to a professional relationship are normally retained for no longer than 12 months after the last contact. Where a contractual relationship is established, data may be retained for longer to meet administrative, tax and contractual requirements and to protect legal rights, within the applicable statutory periods.

10. Data subject rights

Where provided by Articles 15–22 GDPR, data subjects may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of their data, object to processing and withdraw any consent without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. Requests may be sent to info@astech-software.com. Data subjects may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or the competent supervisory authority in their country.

11. Provision of data and automated decisions

Providing the information contained in an email is optional, but failure to provide the information needed to deal with the enquiry may prevent the Controller from responding. The Controller does not use automated decision-making or conduct profiling through this website.

12. Updates

This notice may be updated following legal, organisational or technical changes. The version published on this page is the version applicable at the time it is viewed.
